Workforce1 is a free employment service provided by the NYC Department of Small Business Services, designed to help New Yorkers prepare for and connect to job opportunities across all five boroughs. Through its network of 18 Career Centers and a robust virtual platform, Workforce1 offers personalized services such as job matching, interview preparation, résumé workshops, and access to job training in growing industries.

VESID/ACCES-VR. (Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation) is a program under the New York State Education Department that helps individuals with disabilities prepare for and achieve employment and independence. ACCESS-VR provides a range of services including career counseling, job training, education support, and job placement assistance.
The goal is to help people with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities find meaningful employment and develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce. Services are personalized and may include things like vocational assessments, assistive technology, and support for college or trade school.
